Easy to use with keyboard shortcuts and presets. 9,000 stars (all visible stars, plus lots of nearby dim stars) and 2,400 galaxies. Displays known planetary star systems. Find stars and galaxies by name, constellation, or distance and fly to them with a keypress. Select stars by magnitude, distance, or spectral type. Select galaxies by distance or group. Galaxies span 325 million light years. Has an outline of our galaxy and constellation lines. See the constellations change as you move from star to star. Presets allow you to instantly view constellations from near Earth, view all nearby stars (even stars too dim to see with the naked eye), view all available galaxies, view local galaxies, visit the center of our galaxy, view our place in the galaxy, and more.
